Mindy has been a consultant for The Pinnacle Companies since 2008, providing guidance on tax, accounting, regulatory and external financial reporting. She also works for the accounting firm Sobel & Co, LLC where she is a manager of special projects. Prior to joining Pinnacle, she spent several years as a Vice President and Controller at Citigroup in the Latin American Banking Group. Prior to joining Citigroup, Mindy was an auditor in public accounting at Deloitte. In addition to being a CPA she has an MBA in Finance with a minor in Information Systems. Mindy has played an integral role in various start-up businesses and in training and developing staff. She has held numerous roles as an interim controller and has managed special projects that help clients streamline processes. Mindy is also current in IFRS accounting standards as she provides financial reporting services for a subsidiary of an international REIT as well as an international car manufacturer. Industry experience includes car sharing, hedge funds, international banking, real estate, entertainment, distributorships, insurance and internet start-ups.
